He was confident politian and good skilled compromiser as an political leader for russian parlament. He political developed with real interesting debates with intellectual oposition. When police and Fsb were respected and honest.
And when crinimals and maffia where not closed connected with sitting president. And strong political oponants were not jailed and seen as an security threat to president seat and not for having same political opnions as presidents.
To my suprice many russians saw him as too weak to continue as president. He been former ceo of Gazproom witch he made very productive and economical solid. Witch in reality he was going to do the same with Russian state and state treature. But instead population wanted a man as Vladimir Putin. And we all saw and know what he and his old kgb friends with other oligarks from former corrupt presidents before Putin, saw what Putin in open view did.
But honest from my heart great honor to Dmitry Medvedev for staying and try to work for honesty and try to create buissness trust for the few remaining state owned companies, and for trust for russian state in foreign buissness investors view.
So one cant realy misscredit Vladimir Putin for making Dmitry Medvedev primeminister,on that desicion Vladimir Putin did something positive for Russian parlament and state.Well done Vladimir Putin for that.
